Favourites generally have lower odds. For example, if Team B is priced at 1.80 in decimal format, a ৳500 stake returns ৳900 in total if they win (profit ৳400). In American format this is –125 — meaning you need to stake ৳125 to make ৳100 profit.

The bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on a selection adds it to the bet slip. Enter your stake in the slip and the potential return is shown immediately. A single bet has one selection; a multi bet combines several selections and all odds are multiplied together to determine the total return.
Single bet example
In a cricket match, Team A is priced at 1.45 and Team B at 2.75. You place a ৳500 bet on Team B.
If Team A wins, you lose your entire ৳500 stake. Betting is for entertainment — winnings are not guaranteed.
Multi bet example
Three selections combined — odds of 1.40, 1.50, and 1.90. You only receive a return if all three win.
If any one selection loses, you lose the full ৳100 — multi bets carry higher risk.
Placing bets on sports and casino games
bdtk1 has two separate sections — sports betting and casino. In sports, you can bet before a match starts (pre-match) or while it is in progress (live betting). In live betting, odds change from moment to moment, so check the odds once more before confirming your slip.

How a betting exchange works
Some markets feature a betting exchange — where you bet against other players. If you BACK Team A at decimal odds of 1.80 with a ৳1,000 stake, you make ৳800 profit if Team A wins (before commission); you lose ৳1,000 if they do not. If you LAY (take the opposite side), you act as the bookmaker — you make ৳1,000 if Team A does not win (before commission), and your liability is ৳800 if they do.
View your history of open and settled bets
After logging in to bdtk1, go to "My Bets" or "Bet History". You will find two tabs there:
- Open Bets: Not yet settled — the match or event is still in progress.
- Settled Bets: The result has been determined — won, lost, or void.
In each bet's details you can see — which event, at what odds, how much you staked, and what the return was. If a bet is voided, the stake is returned to your balance.
